John Walker was the true hero of FATWS show he was the real MVP who saw Karli and her Flagsmasher terrorist a threat to the world meanwhile Sam on the otherhand saw her as a kid and tries to have peace with her by using Naruto talk-no-jutsu BS technique to Karli. And what's more even dumb is that the show tries to make John an evil/asshole in the show but tries to make the audience symphatize to a gang of super soldier terrorist and even Sam and Bucky hates John just because he is Captain America which is dumb and completely so stupid. John is my favorite character in the MCU, he is the most human character and more interesting character than Sam and Bucky in their own show

I'll go one step further and say this is the greatest animated movie I have ever watched

Great video, but Walker's breakdown isn't 100% and also makes him seem like he needs to be loved to do the right thing. And that everyone hated him, I mean in the show it was only Sam and Bucky that acted like real tools towards him. He was just a guy who just came back from a war, and was not only made Cap and was expected to be as good as Steve. But was thrown into a world of super powered beings, and expected to just be able to handle it. He was smug at times, overly aggressive at time, but not the rest. He was also loyal, a good man but a better soldier, and will always try his best to do right. He give Sam and Bucky a lot of leeway, and despite how much they disrespected him. Yes when they first met he wanted them to work with him cause he was Cap, and even though that was a stupid thing to say he made them the offer repeatedly. Not just cause they have worked with Cap, but cause of the things they've done and the fact they were heroes. He helped them fight the Flagsmasher's, he got them out of jail and still they treated him like dirt and specially Bucky. He just wanted to do his job and bring in the Flagsmashers, but every time Bucky and Sam got in his way. He could have arrested them for that but didn't, he just tried to talk to them and even with Zemo (who they broke out of prison). Hell, when the Wakanda ladies showed up he tried to talk to them to until they started dogging him too. I 100% agree with Walker killing that terrorist, yeah that guy didn't kill Lemar, but he was still a super-soldier terrorist that helped kill a bunch of innocent people. Walker was a soldier doing his job, but he did mess up by doing it in front of the public. But what Sam and Bucky did to him after Lemar's death was beyond wrong. He needed help, and was losing it but instead of trying to help him they came for his shield. The look on his face when he realized it was heartbreaking, and still he gave them the chance to walk away. Then they took the shield, left him there and later the government fired him for doing his job. So I totally agree with his story arc from beginning to end mentioned here. But he pulled himself together, not cause of love and Bucky and Sam finally accepting him. It was icing on the cake, but him choosing to save those people in the truck instead of vengeance was his defining moment. Just letting go of all the bull, all the anger that was boiling over and his want to kill the Flagsmasher's leader. Once he let that go, and just doing the right thing in that moment was huge for him.

To hell with the haters, Andrew Garfield is my all time favourite Spider-Man ever since I was 13 years old when the film came out. I consider him to be the most comic accurate portrayal of Peter Parker but modernised. He definitely captures the chip on the shoulder vibe Peter has in the Lee and Ditko Comics and Ultimate Spider-Man. And I wish they would shut the f*** up about him being too fit to be Spider-Man, since when was Peter in the comics known to be on attractive? The journey Peter goes through from getting bitten by the spider, learning his powers and him not learning great responsibilities straight away after Ben's death and originally became Spider-Man to seek vengeance before rescuing the kid from the bridge makes it more realistic. It makes his character development or the more impactful. Plus his Peter suffers a ton of losses. From his parents, his uncle, Captain Stacy and Gwen as well as his friendship with Harry. And the fact that he perseveres from all of this is what makes him the most accurate Spider-Man. Despite Electro being my second favorite villain right after Venom and I like Jamie Foxx's take on him, I understand that hate for the second film I never understood the hate for the first. I will will say that if they are kept the scene with Connors and his kid, I think people would see the Lizard in a more different light and would understand his motivation, even if in New York into lizards was a ridiculous plan, in his mind, he just wanted the world to be equal as he feels like he's been cheated by God. As for the second film I don't hate it as much as everyone else, but I feel like they should have handled the parent stuff from the first film, but if the parents stuff needed to be included, then I'd say the scene when Peter learns about the spiders, should have happened before Harry asked him for his blood, that way his refusal to give Harry his blood would be a lot more understandable and make him sound less of a dick. (But that's just my opinion). If it wasn't for Sony's interference, I think the films would be great. What I find to be the most biggest cop out was that people ONLY start to appreciate Andrew's Spider-Man more when No Way Home came out and thought that was what redeemed Andrew Garfield but I'm totally agree with the Nostalgia Critic when he said that they are dead arse wrong and that Garfield was always great! And he was always great in my eyes, he was my Spider-Man, he was how I'd picture Spider-Man if he was real, especially with the first suit. And that scene when he and Tobey's Peter gave Tom's Peter some closure after May died and when he was talking about Gwen and how that affected him, and when he rescued Zendaya's MJ to redeem himself reminded me why he's my favourite Spider-Man to begin with. He definitely captures the relatability that Peter Parker has towards readers and viewers. Part of me was always annoyed that they never appreciated him beforehand back when he was the shit.

Most of us regular folks who crack under pressure if administered with super soldier serum would end up the same as john walker and never steve rogers, he was the fictional captain and walker is the realistic one. He is more relatable.

What makes john walker great is that you can sympathize with him. Hes a guy whos in an impossible position. He has to try to fill the shoes of a literal avenger and honestly I dont blame him as he starts to crack later in the show. Killing the person wasnt the right thing to do but he had just lost his friend so its understandable. I also wouldnt consider him a villian in anyway. Hes more on the morally grey antagonist side like magneto.

I remember only watching some clips of TFATWS and then going into AO3 to read some fanfiction of it. I read one fanfic called "Tabula Rasa". After reading some of it, i decided to watch TFATWS fully. It was hot garbage oml, i ran towards AO3 to finish reading the fanfic (it was 20 times better than the og series xddd)

I recently rewatched both of these films and I also think he's my favorite. His quips and general demeanor as Spiderman fits soooo incredibly well that his alter ego as Peter Parker doesn't feel as off putting and unnatural. (I always thought it odd how awkward Peter is socially but how confident he is as Spiderman. Yes I get the mask and the anonymity play an important role but having none of that bleed through over time just seems weird to me.) I also think Garfield is an amazing talented actor that was under appreciated at the time. In contrast I just can't get into Tom Hollands performance and maybe that's because he's so heavily "Marvelfied" The "friendly neighborhood" bit just isn't there because he's off fighting aliens in space and so on. Also unpopular opinion I'm sure but TASM suit was killer and my favorite out of all eight films (They eye lens could have been better but I liked the leather look and texture of the suit in that one compared to TASM2.)

Peter Parker has anger issues in the OG comics and is arrogant. People have changed how they view Peter over time but Peter has to learn to control his anger and being Spider-Man humbles him over time. But bro- have you not read the very first issue of Amazing Spiderman with the Fantastic 4 where he blows up on them or when Peter is a chad and ignoring Liz Allen's advancements and just ignores her lol. Peter has to learn to be better. He isn't this naturally perfect calm headed guy that people portray him as today. They fundamentally misunderstand the comic. Another reason why Ultimate Spiderman's run was so well received. They understood Peter.

My only issue is that he never gets a bone thrown his way till the end. He does un-captainly things but he does reasonable and right things. Even his trial feels harsh on him, but it comes right after the thing most people hate him for. Which is meant to show how alone he is and how yk, uncaptainly he is. But it just somehow made most people hate him more. He's a gray character that I feel like most people go overboard with. They either hate him or hype him.

John technically didn’t do anything wrong. If we assume that he was given orders similar to what would be in reality then killing the Flag Smashes was probably not against the rules if things got out of hand. The reason why he was demoted was likely because it was in very brutal and filmed in public.

if the series were more about the weigth of the responsability of becoming captain america, to become the simbol for an entire nation, and how the expectation afect part of your life and the people around it it would have been a really good series, but no we have bucky and sam beind idiots and ruind thing and misions out of spite for like 5 episodes

I have an annoucement : Soon I will start filming some fan made scenes based on the cancelled zack snyder's justice league 2 to 3 storyboard using stop motion. I might will fix some of the flaws on the storyboard and use my own vision to make the scene better (don't worry I ain't no joss whedirt). The first script is ready and its a fight scene.

I think a really great concept to regards a third film, now that Marvel are moving forward with more R-Rated films like Deadpool, would be to give Andrew his third adaption as an R-Rated movie where he stopped pulling his punches. I loved Tony Maguire and Tom Holland, but Andrew really brings emotion to the role, and brings comic book Spidey to life. An angry and grieving Spiderman, being wreckless with enemies, would be a perfect step for Andrews trilogy finish.

It seems that what happened in this show also happened in real life. Hamas, a terrorist group attacked Israel and they brutally retaliated so hard that westerners see hamas and the Palestinians as the victims and that Israel is to blame for this whole conflict. Just like how John walker killed the terrorist because he killed his best friend and now everyone treats him like the bad guy.
